We consider the following individuals and groups to be part of the honorary extended team of Natural Rights Operations, both past and present. We are grateful for their work to advance the Natural Rights of individual human beings and, along with that, the prosperity and well-being
of all of humanity.
Remember - all human beings are imperfect. As such, in extending our appreciation, we do not focus on any faults or shortcomings of these individuals or groups (perceived or otherwise), but rather on our discernment of the incremental and overall impacts of their principles, efforts, and results.
We also do not necessarily agree with their points of view on everything, but that is the beautiful thing about freedom of speech combined with open and constructive dialogue!
Nonetheless, these honorary extended team members help to educate us, inspire us, and give us hope for the future. Most importantly, we believe that they have helped to make the world a better place for all human beings.
Standing On The Shoulders Of Giants
We must first thank and honor those individuals who came before us in the development and advancement of the concept of Natural Rights, as they have inspired and enabled all of our efforts of the present time.
With that in mind, the following is a (by no means exhaustive) list of historical figures that we appreciate, spanning from the classical era to modern times.
We encourage everyone to keep these individuals in mind when considering and researching topics in Natural Rights, Western philosophy, the Enlightenment, individualism, individual liberty, classical liberalism, democracy, and free-market capitalism.
Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Nicolaus Copernicus, Francis Bacon, Algernon Sidney, John Locke, Montesquieu, Voltaire, Adam Smith, Benjamin Franklin, George Mason, George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Paine, Cesare Beccaria, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, Marquis de Lafayette, William Wilberforce, Thomas Clarkson, Jean-Baptiste Say, Sojourner Truth, Frédéric Bastiat, Abraham Lincoln, Frederick Douglass, Harriet Tubman, Susan B. Anthony, Ludwig von Mises, Friedrich Hayek, Ayn Rand, Milton Friedman, Walter Williams
Our nomination for the most badass historical proponent for Natural Rights: Harriet Tubman
Harriet Tubman with her hands on the barrel of her rifle
(National Portrait Gallery, Smithsonian Institution, Washington, D.C., USA)
Tubman stood at a height of only around five feet tall, but the rifle is the ultimate equalizer of individuals. Since its earliest invention and continuing throughout its ongoing evolution into the modern versions of today, the rifle has been one of the most important and effective tools used in the defense of Natural Rights throughout the world.
I had reasoned this out in my mind; there was one of two things I had a right to, liberty, or death; if I could not have one, I would have the other; for no man should take me alive; I should fight for my liberty as long as my strength lasted, and when the time came for me to go, the Lord would let them take me.
– Harriet Tubman, 1886
Modern-Day Warriors
To us, the following individuals and groups are the true social justice warriors of the modern world, as they are actively working to preserve and promote rational thought, productive civil discourse, sensible solutions, and ultimately the fundamental rights and freedoms of all individuals.
They are certainly the type of people that we want to have by our side in the ongoing fight for Natural Rights! (...and it is also really good to know that we are not alone in the fight...)
We appreciate the following political figures who seem to be genuine and consistent proponents of individual liberties and Natural Rights with their efforts in public office:

Special recognition is deserved for the unique work of the following individual:

We believe, as the saying goes, that "the best defense against evil men is good men who are skilled at violence". We think that if push comes to shove in the fight to protect individual Natural Rights, the following men would be on our side, and that, my friends, would be a good thing for sure. In the meantime, we can all learn from their experience and knowledge to better prepare ourselves mentally, physically, and spiritually to live our best lives and to protect ourselves and those that we love:
